Padfone Video Promo from ASUS

Asus has just released a demo video promo for PadFone phone-tablet-combo-lapdock future, this promo video actually looks raw and has a problem in editing. How not? The last half of the video is a repetition of the first half without audio, but still a great way to showcase the potential of innovative new devices., The Padfone featured in the clip looks really pretty and the interaction with the phone pad and keyboard dock looks so natural and cool.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Padfone concept, it’s practically a 4.3-inch smartphone that can transform in either a tablet or a netbook in a matter of seconds. However, you won’t be able to use the Padfone both as a phone and a tablet at the same time (or as a phone and a netbook). The handheld is packing all the hardware, while the Padfone Station and dock are just shells that extend the display real estate and add extra battery juice.

Here's a Padfone spec:
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor at 1.5GHz
4.3" Super AMOLED qHD display (the tablet features a 10.1" display, no word on resolution)
8MP rear shooter (featuring a 5-element f/2.2 lens)
Stylus/Headset accessory
Over 14,000mAh battery power between the pad, phone, and dock

So far, there is still no information on pricing and launch date for the American market, rumors are circulating in the range of $ 700. while in Europe, Padfone will be released by the end of May. But Taiwan, The all-in-one device instead was released. In addition. Although not yet officially released, but the belief in the success of ASUS Padfone 2 is already very high, even ASUS have been planning a "sequel" The second of Padfone that will compatible with 4G,

Facebook invited software developers to ready description pages for listing in the App Centre, where applications will earn spots based on quality, popularity and other metrics.

"The App Centre will become the new, central place to find great apps like Draw Something, Pinterest, Spotify, Battle Pirates, Viddy, and Bubble Witch Saga," Brady said.

5 advantages of using android than Ipad

although Android's market share fell in the first quarter from apple and put into tablets IPad a lot purchased from the tablet which is run by Android, but I found at least 5 advantages of using android than Ipad as an OS on a tablet written by flippingpad. The following details.

  1. Safe-keepingAndroid boasts a minimum storage of 8 GB whilst the iPad amounts from 16 to help 64 GB associated with storage, depending on your price. At first glance Apple mackintosh wins that, hands down, before you look at the problem of additional storage, at which point the Android os tablet is the distinct winner having a usb interface where Apple decided absolutely no usb interface was desired.
  2. Compared to the initial Le Pan tablet, the The Pan 2 will be a better rob for consumers. The Le Pan 2 will come fully rich in the Android operating system 2 system, and also a 7" display screen that brings out the tablet’s Hi-def quality. This sleek along with slimmer version weighs about 6 pounds.
  3. It’s a real undeniable fact that Apple’s iPad won’t stand on leading as compared to some other devices however it will not indicate too long the majority of the companies tend to be coming up with their particular manufactured products. However this year is going to be an amazing year until now for Apple inc because of its starting of iPad and i phone. Google is implementing its impending Android tablet that will outrun Apple’s iPad. In case you just go into the detail of this battle between Apple and Google you would then come to be aware that the contrast of Android mobile phone with Apple’s ipad tablet or iPad is not justifying as these are not telephones. If you only compare Android mobile phone with New iphone 4 then this might also be definitely not justifying. The reason is that competition between Apple inc and Yahoo is not more than phones, it is the battle connected with software program. Now a problem would develop in your mind in which who would get this software program war? The reply is very much clear as the one that will come on top of such unit which will include most powerful ecosystem of designers, users and also mobile devices will definitely win this kind of battle.
  4. Among the finest Android software for conditions forecasting may be the Fancy Widget Pro iphone app. It has 4 widgets: fancy clock, fancy climate, fancy property and elegant home smaller. It is a user-friendly Android app that permits you to personalize your own clock, particular date, time and weather forecast with many different options to decide for your home display screen. To launch Extravagant Weather Pro, simply tap on climate settings, and then tap weather conditions provider. You may also change the temperature format inside Celsius or F readings. There are a number of climate skins readily available. Fancy Widget Pro only costs $99 inside Android Marketplace.
  5. Pulse reports is one of the prettiest and most well-liked news viewer apps regarding Android Tablet. You are able to scroll several news bottles and once you found what you want to look through, you can simply transfer from remaining to right to check the subject areas. It exhibits a wonderful show with pictures and wording seen on screen while you seek out topics. This covers pertinent topics for example politics, music, art, enjoyment, fashion, scientific research, and athletics. What’s great about Pulse News is that you may add matters from Yahoo rss viewer. It is a free of charge news audience app that allows you to talk about stories or maybe topics with Facebook and Twitter.

Consumers Prefer IPad Over Android Tablets?

Not many people want to buy a tablet pc that uses Android as Os. Something like that a report released by IDC. They reported that sales for the first quarter Tablet media around the world amounted to 17.4 million units. This figure is 1.2 million units lower than their initial expectations, but still 120% higher than same period last year. From these figures, Apple still dominates with 11.8 million shipments.

According to Tom Mainell, an analyst with IDC, Apple's move to market the iPad as a tablet is versatile and not just as content consumption device was getting tremendous response from consumers, purchasers and buyers of commercial education. In addition, the decision to lower the cost of the new iPad 2 when the iPad was launched in March appears to have significant impact to sale of the company.

It is noteworthy that the market share of Amazon fell to more than 4% in the first quarter from the 16.8% of the fourth quarter as the Kindle Fire's demand weakened. Currently Samsung holds a distant second rank in the market, Amazon places third, Lenovo is ranks fourth and Barnes & Noble places fifth.

IDC expecting Android's market share could soon rebound along with the introduction of new products from vendors. in addition, factors, Google co-brand a tablet with ASUS and bring it in the market also will affect the future of their sales jump. Meanwhile, they also must remain alert to the movement from Amazon that will soon launch a new tablet with a larger device and the price may be much more aggressive.

If there is still awaited, maybe it was the arrival of a tablet that operates with Windows 8. Tablet price and qualifications that will come but not yet announced will be an important factor that could possibly win the buyer's choice. In addition to consumer acceptance will be the new OS and the level of success in the process of integration with the windows of the old course.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II

The Galaxy S3 has gone up in screen size to a perfect 4.8in, while maintaining a relatively small body at 133g and 8.6mm thin. The hyperglazed shell feels strong while its pebble inspired design sits comfortably in the hand.

The Galaxy S II is still an attractive phone with a plenty-big 4.3in display and 8.5mm thin form at its thinnest point. But the black model does feel a bit plastic. The white version feels a little stronger but still hasn’t escaped that plastic back which feels like a drop would end it.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II – screen

The Galaxy S3 comes with one of the most beautiful mobile screens we’ve ever seen. The 4.8in Super AMOLED produces vibrant colours, true blacks, and can serve up smooth video – even with fast-moving action scenes. It’s also – so Samsung claims – more power efficient than other similar smartphones, even though its 720×1280 screen packs in 306ppi.

The Galaxy S II has a bright 4.3in AMOLED screen that produces great colours but is slightly lacking when it comes to pleasing those of you that crave pixels. With 480×800 pixels on the screen you’re only getting 217ppi, which doesn’t hold up to the S3 or HTC One X.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II – performance

With a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor the S3 is – if early benchmarking tests are to be believed – the fastest smartphone on the planet. The power efficiency of a quad-core, coupled with the more battery friendly screen and huge 2,100mAh battery should make the S3 an all-day mobile, even with heavy use.

The S II’s dual-core 1Ghz processor might not sound that impressive – but it can still handle most tasks quick enough to keep up with you. While the 1,560mAh battery may give up before the day is out when used heavily, its lifespan can be stretched with tools like Advanced Task Killer.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II – camera

The 8MP, 1080p zero shutter lag camera crams in the features. Burst Mode lets you shoot 20 photos at 3.3 shots per second, Buddy Mode automatically tags faces using your contacts list, and Best Mode chooses the top pic out of a burst of eight. You’re also able to keep snapping photos while recording full HD video.

Once you’ve taken your snaps, you can easily share them with the people in the photos – the gallery flags up your contacts in shots and offers one-touch sharing. You can also zoom face transitions to focus on your mates’ mugs while viewing a slideshow. Video stabilisation and backlit illumination for pics makes light work of shaky and low light situations. The front-facing camera is a respectable 1.9MP snapper that can shoot 720p video, so it can watch you while you work.

It might not be new anymore but the S II’s 8MP, 1080p snapper was way ahead of its time and still produces great quality photos and videos. Thanks to Android’s easy sharing options there’s a plethora of ways to dish out your pics – even if you have to pick out your friends’ mugs the old fashioned way.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II – killer features

The S3 knows what you want – so if you’re reading a text and want to call the person, simply putting the phone to your ear will do it. It even watches you using the front-facing camera and keeps the screen from dimming while you’re focused on it.

S Voice listens to your every command and responds helpfully – with impressive accuracy, whether you want to check the the weather, send a text, set an alarm or fire up the camera. S Beam uses either NFC or Wi-Fi to share with other S3 handsets while AllShare lets you mirror your screen to potentially any HDMI screen (using an adapter, sold separately).

The Galaxy SII responds to voice commands pretty well. It can roll with the punches using the up to date Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. And it… well, it… okay, the S3 wins on this front, but perhaps some of these software advantages will filter down to the S II.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Samsung Galaxy S II – conclusion

While the Galaxy S3 will give you more power, a better screen, longer battery life and a host of camera tricks, the S II is still a contender. When the S3 hits the shelves on May 30th (we hope), we expect the S II to drop considerably in price. With a good 12 months left in its hardware abilities, it’s a good option for those who want smart on a budget. If money is no object, though, the S3 is a must.
