A little leak About Nexus Android Tablet

Soon, Google seems to be officially released Google Android Tablet that will use the Nexus brand. As we know, Google Chairman said that they were preparing to release a tablet for 6 months in in order to combat the dominance of Apple's iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire

Reportedly the giant of search engine will begin production of a 7-inch tablet in early April with a plan of a 1.5-2 million units to reach a resolution of 1280x800 megapixels, while the price is pegged around $ 199, Google's strategy seems to be targeting the low-end with the price raises the question of Digitimes mainly because of the "highest quality" and the asking price of $ 199 are usually mutually exclusive

Going after the Fire with a higher-quality offering at the same low price tag could derail Amazon, but it could also cripple the prospects of other OEMs, since their bottom lines primarily come from hardware margins. A Nexus tablet priced at $199 would simply set the bar too low. how do you think?

Android tablet apps: Dark Legends Coming Soon

If you are a fan of MMORPGs, and also like vampires and monsters, then you may be intrigued by this new game coming out sometime in the first quarter of this year. The game is called Dark Legends, and the developer, Spacetime Studios, just released a teaser for the game. This is the same developer that created Pocket Legends which was the first 3D MMO that plays across both iOS and Android. The teaser is just FMV at the moment, and doesn't show any actual gameplay, but it does show off the premise. The cool factor is pretty high. If the production values on the gameplay are anywhere near as good as the teaser, then this could be a really good game for mobile devices. Here's a statement about the game from the developer:

In Dark Legends Players will embrace the secret societies of vampires to challenge the hordes of undead, werewolves, demons and humans that hunt them. Dark Legends opens with the player recently raised and under the direction of the vampire that sired them. The secret existence of vampires has been exposed and angry, misguided humans are uniting to exterminate the undead plague by any means necessary. Players must work with their clan to survive this brutal new world. Dark Legends is a MMORPG set to be released in Q1 of 2012 for iOS, Android and Chrome.

Are Google Launching Android 5.0 Jelly Bean?

Although Android 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich only available on some devices officially. But this has not been too satisfactory for Google. And reportedly, they plan to push the launch of the newest version of Google Android. Android 5.0, code-named Jelly Bean is expected to be completed in the summer or Q2 of 2012.

According to a report from DigiTimes, the launch will be timed to coincide with the launch of Windows 8. Jelly Bean will increase Android’s tablet optimization, and may allow dual-booting with Google’s Chrome OS on tablets. While Android is extremely popular, Chrome OS’s performance has been somewhat lackluster. Google may be looking to hitch Chrome OS to Android’s wagon. Two weeks ago Google launched an Android version of their Chrome browser. This fed speculation that they may be planning to merge the two operating systems at some point in the future. If Jelly Bean tablets can dual-boot to Chrome OS, it may be another step down that road. Selain itu Android 5.0 Jelly Bean akan lebih dioptimalkan secara khusus untuk layar yang lebih besar, termasuk tablet dan netbook potensial.
Google Launching Android 5.0 Jelly Bean

As written by gottabemobile.com As Android tablet manufacturers are also finding it hard to compete in the Android tablet category, which is dominated at the high-end by Apple’s iPad and at the low end by Amazon’s Kindle Fire, the move may allow tablet-makers who are uncertain about Windows 8 and Android OS to hedge their bets simultaneously on both platforms of Digitimes is accurate with the live dual boot solution.

While Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is seen as a major milestone uniting Google’s Gingerbread smartphone platform with the Honeycomb tablet platform under one unifying Android OS, Jelly Bean will expand Android’s feature set and is seen as a significant upgrade. A June introduction at Google I/O would make it a fast-pace release cycle as Google recently only unveiled Ice Cream Sandwich in late 2011. Android 4.0 didn’t offer too much to the tablet platform, but is a major upgrade path for smartphones. Android 5.0 seems to be a major upgrade path for larger screens and is being described at this time as tablet-centric.

however, it still remains just a rumor. truth must be only time will answer it
